Most organizations come to us because something feels off — their message isn’t landing, their materials don’t quite align, or their work has outgrown the systems supporting it. That’s normal. Write Design Group helps mission-driven organizations step back, get clear, and move forward with confidence.
That work is led by partners Kelly Carnahan and Jim Stowers, who have worked together for more than 20 years. Throughout their careers, they have helped businesses—from plucky small businesses to colleges and universities to the world’s largest companies—to create custom communication and marketing solutions. They started Write Design Group in 2024 to help businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations achieve their marketing and communications goals.

Jim brings a steady, systems-oriented approach to complex projects, especially when multiple stakeholders and priorities are in play.
